In this case, Ajith’s family has released a statement. They said that our father Mr. B.S. Mani (85 years old) was bedridden for several days. He passed away in his sleep early this morning.
We are indebted to all the doctors who have supported our family with love and care for our father who was suffering from a stroke for the past four years. With our mother’s support and affection, our father enjoyed a happy life for almost 60 years.
Many people are phoning, texting, or sending us a phone, mobile, or other calls at this difficult time to ask about the news of our father’s passing and to comfort our family. We really hope that you will be understanding if we are unable to return your call or respond in the current situation.
We will be attending our father’s funeral as a family. We thus ask that everyone who hears about this passing would respect our sorrow and loss and work with the family to follow the period of mourning and carry out the last rituals in privacy.
