Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp had its world premiere last night in Los Angeles, and we were there to give our thoughts on the film. While we won’t be able to share any spoilers, we thought it would be fun to share some of our first reactions from the premiere. First reactions to Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. In a world cut off from its past, Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne must embrace new methods to protect their daughter and the rest of the Quantum Realm. The action-adventure is directed by Peyton Reed (Yes Man) and written by Peyton Reed & Kevin Feige with Stephen Broussard producing.
The screening saw a packed Dolby theatre with fans eager to see what Peyton Reed delivers in his third solo movie with Marvel’s smallest, yet most powerful superhero. As usual, there were some great reactions on Twitter while we all waited to see the movie ourselves – here are some of them.
Does Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp bring an end to the Quantum Realm? We are not so sure: There’s no graceful exit, no acknowledgment that this is a side story in addition to the main story. It’s just a movie set within a movie. Nonetheless, it works well as a standalone film and makes for a good entry point for people who’ve never seen an MCU movie before.

It’s like nothing we’ve seen before. What a performance by Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and our favorite Jonathan Majors asKang the Conqueror. It has been so fun to follow this story from the beginning, and #QuantumMechanic is wildly creative and original!
The movie has some of the best action sequences I’ve ever seen, and it has an incredible cast of characters. The story is full of twists and turns, but it never gets confusing or boring. It’s so much fun!
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen anything like this, and it is so refreshing! The story is compelling, the visuals are amazing, and Paul Rudd’s performance is hilarious. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

The characters are so well-developed and fun to watch; they really make this film what it is. I love the relationship between Scott Lang and his daughter Cassie! She’s such a strong little girl who doesn’t take any guff from her father or anyone else. There are so many laugh-out-loud moments, and they’re all well-timed. I think that’s why this film has been so successful at the box office. It’s lighthearted fun for everyone!
