Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Movie Review

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3 is now out and this video will break down the full movie, easter eggs, ending, and post-credits scenes. The movie begins with a flashback of Rocket (Subject 89p13) and Lylla, a big character in the comics who makes her debut here. The plot threads left at the end of Avengers Endgame are still very apparent with Peter still pining after Gamora. The High Evolutionary has been attempting to create a Utopia and has built a machine that speeds up the evolution process within animals. Rocket manages to escape but his allies are killed, leading to him being out on his own in the galaxy.

Adam Warlock is a big addition to the MCU, created on Earth by the Enclave. He rebelled against his creators and was renamed Adam Warlock by the High Evolutionary. The High Evolutionary is a sadistic villain in the Multiverse of Madness. He was born in Manchester and moved to Wundagore Mountain, where he learned of the work of Nathaniel Essex. He was eventually given a serum to unlock genetic The Guardians of the Galaxy, Drax, Nebula, and Mantis, rescue Peter and Groot from a ship traveling into space.

They discover that the Evolutionary has been creating children with platinum hair, one of which is Phylla Vell. The Guardians then follow the Evolutionary out into space and fight the villain, unleashing his hellspawn and Kraglin using a massive cannon built into Knowhere’s eye. Adam boards the ship and Peter uses the self-destruct to kill him, but Groot saves him. The creatures from the start of the second Guardians film are tamed by Mantis and she goes off into the Galaxy with them to find herself. The movie ends with Gamora saying goodbye to the group and an incredible one-take scene with the Guardians uniting together.

Rocket learns what a Racoon is and the High Evolutionary beats him. Peter rushes to grab his Zune as the Evolutionary ship explodes and is saved by Adam Warlock. The Guardians return to the bar on nowhere for one final goodbye and Gamora and Peter have a bittersweet mature goodbye. The most important details in this text are that James Gunn wanted to show that death in his films should not be final and that Peter decides to head back to Earth to reunite with his grandfather. The text at the end of the movie also talks about characters returning and the title sequence The Legendary Star-Lord will return.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Movie Review

Chris Pratt hasn’t said if he’d like to come back, but the most likely outcome is that the character will come back for either Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars. Zoe Saldana has been open about hoping that Gamora is recast in the MCU. Secret War is a soft reboot that brings in multiple aspects of the expanded Marvel universe and new versions of old characters. The Guardians of Nowhere have formed a new team led by Rocket Racoon.

It has a lot of Bittersweet goodbyes and uses the characters to drive their decisions. James Gunn has mastered his style and sensibilities and is capable of directing big blockbusters like this. Gamoras’ departure is bittersweet and could potentially backfire on the company, but at the moment it is a great return to form and the perfect way to close things out. The movie works 95% of the time and has its personality.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Movie Review

James Gunn’s movies are well-made and well-written, and his brother Sean is a testament to how much having his family involved can work. However, some moments don’t fully hit their target, but in the end, this feels like Gunn has stuck the landing on his trilogy, which should be applauded.
