“Leo,” also known as “Leo: Bloody Sweet,” is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy. This film marks the third installment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. The star-studded cast includes Vijay in the lead role, alongside Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Mysskin.
The project was officially unveiled in January 2023 with the tentative title “Thalapathy 67,” as it signifies Vijay’s 67th film in a leading role. The film’s official title was revealed shortly thereafter. Principal photography began in Chennai in the same month, with intermittent shooting in Kashmir and another schedule held at the initial location, concluding by mid-July. The film features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, and editing by Philomin Raj.
“Leo” is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 19, 2023, in both standard and IMAX formats.
Plot:
The story revolves around Parthiban “Parthi,” a chocolatier who becomes the target of gangsters Antony and Harold Das. They suspect Parthi to be their estranged younger brother, Leo Das.
