The trailer also features Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge, Ethan’s boss in the first Mission Impossible, who is back after 27 years and tells Ethan that he can’t run away from his past.

The director also mentions that Kittridge has a different view of the world than Ethan and that they have a conflict of interest. The trailer also explores Ethan’s past, with Kittridge telling Ethan that he cares about his country, while Ethan cares about the whole world.

The director, Christopher McQuarrie, reveals that two things will get even worse: the world will face a huge threat and the villains will execute their evil plans.
