Actor Bala Hospitalised: Actor Bala, a popular artist in the Malayalam film industry, was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi due to liver-related issues. His wife, Elizabeth Udayan, a doctor, is ensuring quality and timely treatment for him.

Actor-producer Unni Mukundan paid a visit to the hospital to see Actor Bala, the actor with whom he had a fallout recently over financial matters. Unni spoke about Bala’s condition and said he was stable. Unni Mukundan and Bala were recently in the news for a dispute over the payment of dues for the film ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham.’ Things took an ugly turn when Unni Mukundan presented all the bank statements and proofs to support his version. Despite the disagreement, Unni Mukundan expressed his desire to maintain their friendship and not take any legal action against Bala.

Unni Mukundan breaks his silence after an allegation of unpaid dues to Actor Bala affects him personally. He shares that he has produced two films and had even encouraged Bala to dub for his role in one of the films, hoping it could give him a break. Denying any malicious intentions, Unni clarifies that he has nothing against Bala and has no intention of taking legal action. He further states that his friendship cannot be so brittle.

Unni Mukundan also has revealed that Bala, who recently married Elizabeth Udayan, can talk to people and has expressed his wish to meet his eleven-year-old daughter Avantika. At the wedding, Unni Mukundan stood by Bala’s side and was present to witness the union. Bala’s brother, actor Shiva, is also on his way to Kochi.

Actor Bala’s second marriage

News about Actor Bala’s second marriage to Elizabeth Udayan has surfaced on social media platforms amidst his hospitalization. Bala was previously married to Amrutha Suresh, a fame from Idea Star Singer, back in 2010. However, the couple got divorced in 2019. They have an 11-year-old daughter, Avantika. Reports suggest that Bala, who is currently admitted in the ICU, has asked Unni Mukundan to arrange a meeting with Avantika.

On September 5, 2021, Actor Bala married Elizabeth Udayan in a public ceremony, raising questions about his religion and conversion. In response, he stated, “We have no religion, so questions about conversion are irrelevant.” The wedding was attended by their family members and close friends.

Actor Bala, son of noted director Jeyakumar and grandson of the owner of Arunachala Studios, has had a long-standing interest in the movie industry. 2009 was the year of Puthiya Mukham, bringing fame to him. His Tamil debut as an actor was in 2003, in ‘Anbu.’ He made his directorial debut in 2012 with The Hitlist, an action film, and later made his Telugu debut.
