The film “The Flash” is a thrilling and entertaining adaptation of the popular comic book series by DC Comics. The story revolves around Barry Allen, played by Ezra Miller, who becomes the Flashpoint, a character who has just gained powers and joins the team of Supergirl and Michael Keaton’s Batman. The film also features two other characters, Supergirl and Michael Keaton’s Batman, who work together to stop General Zod.
Ezra Miller’s Vibe as Barry Allen is a clever concept that works well in an ensemble capacity, unlike the standalone origin movie “The Flash.” The film also features a young Flash who has just got his powers, which adds an interesting arc of growth with him. The CGI used in the film is iffy but still provides a granny quality.
The film also features a mix of scenes where Barry picks up Barry’s face through a wall and then puts Barry back down. This is done using the same actor’s great work in blending the faces of the bodies, which looks phenomenal. However, there are some iffy CGI effects, which can be frustrating when watching it.
The big guns in “The Flash” feel more like Batman than the Flash. When the first trailer was released, it felt like they were trying to get people to go to the movie after seeing it.
