1. Permanent Roommates

A romantic comedy web series called “Permanent Roommates” is created by The Viral Fever (TVF).  This is the story of a girl who returns from America after a long-distance relationship of 3 years and gets married to her boyfriend.  Tanya is the story’s powerful female character, and Nidhi Singh portrays Tanya in the film. 2. Sacred Games

Netflix’s Hidden Games was a game-changer. Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwani collaborated on the direction of the movie. 3. Made in Heaven

4. Aarya

2020’s most well-liked online series, “Aarya”. It had actress Sushmita Sen making a comeback as Aarya Sareen. She has been excellent at portraying the role as that of a loving mother and wife. It is available to watch on Disney Plus Hotstar.

5. Delhi Crime

This “Delhi Crime” is based on the Delhi-area Nirbhaya case. Richie Mehta was the show’s director. It starred Shefali Shah as the powerful female character DCP Varthika Chaturvedi. It is available on Netflix.

6. The Family Man-2

Fans enjoyed Samantha‘s performance as the major character in the web series “The Family Man-2,” in which she portrayed Raji, a powerful lady. The series and Samantha’s performance received praise. You can watch it on Amazon Prime Video.

7. Mirzapur

Of the many personalities in Mirzapur, Sweety Gupta, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Vasudha Pandit, Gajagamini Gupta, and Beena Tripathi stand out as the most noteworthy. Sweety Gupta, who rejects Munna’s overtures, is the daughter of a dishonest police officer (Divyendu Sharma). She is brave and has the guts to marry Munna’s rival in addition to being the first to pursue a romantic relationship.

As her family is set to be murdered by Munna, Vasudha—an unusual mother for a television show—surprises with her foresight. Golu is the best student at her college, smarter and less daring than Sweety, but she is still capable of exploring her impulses. To gain power, Beena marries the Tripathi family. 8. A Suitable Boy

Tanya Maniktala plays Lata Mehra in the “A Suitable Guy” television series. Lata represents the contemporary, newly independent India that she is growing up in because she is determined to do things on her own.  Lata, who rejects her mother’s efforts to match her with a spouse, struggles between her obligations to her family and her potential for love and desire. It is available on Netflix.

9. Panchayat 

In the show, Neena plays Manju Devi, a middle-aged lady who serves as the village’s Pradhan. Together with her daughter Masaba Gupta, Neena Gupta will appear in the second season of the Netflix series Masaba Masaba in addition to the Panchayat series.

The focus of the program is Masaba Gupta’s life and work. The first season of the Sonam Nair-hosted program was made available last year, and the producers just finished filming the second season. It is available on Amazon Prime Video.

10. Four More Shots Please!

Four More Shots Please! focuses on four imperfect and stylish female characters who decide to live freely and give up on their deepest desires. The four central figures are Damini, Umang, Anjana, and Siddhi, who unite in their opposition against patriarchy, gender norms, and unattainable beauty standards as well as for love and freedom.

Investigative reporter Damini is quite independent and expresses her views. Umang is a bisexual lady who is fearless and doesn’t hold back when discussing her demands. Anjana, a single mother, struggles to balance her ambitions with society’s perception of her.

Siddhi has trouble with her body image but always makes an impression with her fashionable demeanor. She desires to experience as much of life as possible while having less stress and more enjoyment. It is available on Amazon Prime Video.
