Vaathi (Sir) is an upcoming Indian action drama film. The film is directed by Tholi Prema fame Venky Atluri. Venky has directed as well as written the story of the film. The film stars Dhanush and Samyukta Menon in lead roles, while P. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Praveena, Samuthirakani, Thottapalli Madhu, Nara, Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Adi, Harish Paradi, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Rajendran etc in supporting roles. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Vaathi Movie Story-
The film tells the same story as Physics Wala and Super 30, though both of these films are biographical dramas. Whereas the story of Vaathi (Sir) is completely fictional. The film stars Dhanup as Balamurugan (Tamil)/Bala Gangadhar Thilak (Telugu), a third grade junior lecturer at the Tirupati Educational Institute (Tamil)/Tripathi Educational Institute (Telugu) (TEI). In the film, he takes a stand against institutions that provide education to children in exchange for commercial profits. In the film, Dhanush faces the villain Samuthirakani.

The trailer of Dhanush’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual film ‘SIR’ (Telugu) and ‘Vaathi’ (Tamil) has been released. In the film, Dhanush is playing the role of a teacher for the first time in his career. Vaathi/Sir is the story of a man with a dangerous mission. The film revolves around the education system.
The trailer of the film looks strong. Many action scenes in the trailer of the film look quite powerful. Several scenes have also been seen in the trailer, where the film’s hero Balamurugan (Tamil) / Bala Gangadhar Thilak (Telugu) completely breaks down in front of the villain, but he gets up again and continues his fight. The entire plot is not known by watching the trailer, but it is clear that the film takes a dig at the education system in India.
The onscreen chemistry of Dhanush and Samyukta Menon in the trailer is sizzling and magical. While the first part of the trailer features Dhanush as a junior lecturer, the second part shows him taking a stand against institutions imparting education for commercial gains. The film has music by G V Prakash.
Yuvraj’s cinematography makes it even more engaging. The film is directed by Venky Atluri, who has directed films like Kerintha, Tholi Prema (2018), Mr. Majnu (2019), Rang De (2021). His films are always successful in entertaining the youth. This time let’s see how much his film is liked by the audience. The film will be released in theaters on 17 February 2023.

Dhanush, Sudeep Kishan and Kali Venkat L will be seen in the film. Dhanush will return as Lone Wolf in Russo Brothers‘ The Gray Man sequel. The Gray Man is Dhanush Hollywood debut Movie. he Gray Man featured Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in the lead roles.

Samyukta is an Indian actress and model, known for acting in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films. He made his film debut with the 2016 Malayalam film Popcorn. He has worked in films like Thevandi, Lili, Kalari, Kalki, Edakkad Battalion 06, Under World, Vellam: The Essential Drink, Aanam Pennum, Bhimla Nayak, Kaduva, Bimbisara, Gaalipata 2, Boomerang and Vaathi. And his upcoming film is Veerupaksha. Sai Dharam Tej and Sunil will be seen alongside her in Veerupaksha.
